Good Grief, you sound like a bunch of bitter, jealous old hens. Seems like that’s more dangerous than the average woman’s chance of popping those suckers in an accident. To each her own.) Amazing that a doc would even perform that surgery, considering what a high risk sport she’s in. Do you want people to look at you or not? Like Britney Spears shouting “Leave me alone, let me have some privacy!” and then appearing on a cover nekkid. Way to do an about face Chantal…that shows some spine!!!

just saying) a reality show, a makeup rep, want a modeling contract…and a website where she is riding a horse naked/ or wanting to look naked… Well now she has got new boobs( not knocking. So she packed her bags and went to New York. In 2005 Chantal lamented about how much sexual harassment she was subject to at Woodbine by the male trainers. Children, alas, often seem to choose these themselves! Fortunately, the dogs at Chez AH have no such temptations.

I agree with that, too, although the fact that you hold that view suggests that Chantal, by dint perhaps of fame and self-promotion alone, is someone parents would probably see as a de facto role model candidate (by which I mean a person whom others will emulate, whether or not they are good or bad examples). If I had a daughter I’d be much more concerned about the message sent by the fact that a successful woman still feesl the need to take off her clothes to get ahead than I would by the fact that she’s not wearing a helmet. “I am definitely proof that if you really want to achieve something, then with hard work and dedication, you can,” she says. But Chantal evidently would like to be considered one, if Alex Brown’s interview plugged today on Paulick’s site is to be believed:Ĭhantal enjoys the idea that she can be a role model for women who want to pursue horse racing. I wouldn’t consider her one myself, probably partly because I’m not a young girl wanting to become a jockey, for example. But I’m not the one making the lady a role model (thank God I’m not in charge of that!). As I said, I think it’s tacky, and that means I think it’s inappropriate. Kids should look to their parents for role models, not rap stars, and actresses, and jockeys.

Why does every person who achieves any measure of fame need to be seen as a role model?
